What scanner can I buy to listen to Howard County ?

Howard County runs a P25 System. All channels are Phase II now. Below are a list of scanners that will pick up the current system.

Where can I find the frequencies for Howard County?

The new digital system uses a combination of frequencies and talkgroup ID’s (TGID). For that information, I use a combination of Radioreference.com and data I get from my scanner.

Can you program my scanner ?

Unfortunately, no. Life has gotten in the way and having the time to pick up, program, and drop off scanner for people is just not in the cards for us. There are plenty of you tube videos, scanner forums, and other resources to learn how to program a scanner.
