Kokomo Scanner Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your Kokomo Scanner account from the mobile app. If you cannot access your account, you can also submit a deletion request without reinstalling or signing in to the app.

Delete your account in Kokomo Scanner

1. Sign in to Kokomo Scanner.

2. Open Account.

3. Select your name to open your profile.

4. Scroll to Account and select Delete my account.

5. Enter your current password, acknowledge that deletion is permanent, and confirm the deletion.

The account is signed out when deletion succeeds. This action cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot sign in or no longer have Kokomo Scanner installed, use admin@kokomoscanner.com with the subject “Kokomo Scanner account deletion request.”

Include the email address associated with the account and state that you want the account deleted. When possible, send the request from the associated email address. Kokomo Scanner may take reasonable steps to verify that you control the account before completing the request.

Do not send your password, verification codes, access tokens, or other sensitive credentials. Kokomo Scanner will acknowledge the request, explain any verification needed, and provide the expected completion time.

What deletion does

Account deletion removes the account’s sign-in credentials and access; ends active sessions; removes registered devices and push-notification tokens; removes notifications, follows, and app preferences; and replaces the account profile name with “Former member” to prevent further participation.

Public comments, replies, associated comment edit history, and uploaded comment photos created by the member are permanently removed when the account is deleted. If another member replied to a deleted top-level comment, that other member’s reply may remain as a separate comment. Limited privacy-safe security, moderation, and audit records may be retained when required for service integrity or legal obligations; they do not retain the deleted member’s public comment text or photos.
